Advise the project management system/task

The bottom line: I am a freelancer, am about 10-15 open projects, each with 20-30 open tasks. Need a web or desktop application for easy management. The web is preferable. The desired minimum functionality (filters, sorting, transfer tasks between projects, deadlines, etc.), but you need to he was imprisoned for project management, not just a list of the type of Rememberthemilk. Cost — free or within $ 10./a month.

Tried: worksheet in Excel, Google Calendar, Megaplan, Basecamp and other stuff. All of these shortcomings — the first 2 are not designed for task management, so you need to do a lot of unnecessary actions. Megaplan, at first glance, but in practice the user interface was inconvenient. Note: only one project in the free version, 10 projects are already decent monthly money demand.

The application will be used alone, for this reason not suitable Teamer, Comindwork, etc.

Who has experience in such applications or solves problems in a similar format — share options.

Thank you.

Look at Redmine (description http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redmine )
I use it every day.

If you have no time or are too lazy to set it manually, then you can take the ready set http://bitnami.org/stack/redmine (just for faster testing)

First and foremost, it all depends on the process you want to.

This weekend, exchanged experience with colleagues, and have learned the following:
When the same type of job, same type of projects or the maintenance of long susestudio not be a bad choice Scrum
For the areas which the team of little-known or have many important features (and there any other kind?) easier to use CMMI
\r
And therefore, from the above you need to choose your process, not the one who has more buttons vebdvanol.
\r
PS We use for both Team Foundation Server process (sometimes with modified templates)
