Problem with iptv?

Has providers free iptv, there are two router (Netgear JWNR2000 and D-Link DIR 615) and exactly one problem — does not want a human to work. That is, first all perfect shows and then the picture in 3-4 minutes it freezes and so until then, until you switch the channel. D-Link DIR 615 has already been bought in desperation, also did not help.

Read a lot of manuals (including with Habra), changed the firmware (both the official and dd-wrt), tested on different hardware (two home computer, mac mini, appletv, ipad, iphone), connect via wifi and lan, installed udpxy, poked the settings of the firewall, ports, routes, different players (vlc, xbmc, mpc, iptv player), axes (ios, osx snow leopard, windows xp, windows 7, ubuntu), talked with support (provider and routers), sent logs... That does not work, though burst.

Thus, if the patch cord to connect the units directly to the computer — all works without interference.

What am I doing wrong?

I do have it constantly running and there is an idea to buy him a usb lan port, but anyway maybe it will not solve the problem.

If someone will throw another couple of good ideas, I would be very grateful.

If you've tried everything, then you need to remove tcpdump for igmp simultaneously on up and downstream ports two options to include and compare

tcpdump -i[interface name] igmp

If you use IPTV via wifi — kill the igmp proxy. it will hang almost any router. you need to use udpxy on router.

if you use wired interfaces, firmware DD-VRT enough to put a tick, if I'm not mistaken, it is located in the securiry section called allow multicast routing

On dd-wrt solved by making the wlan from bridge. In this case, it is possible to look IPTV without a problem on the wire, and on Wi-Fi nothing watered — link was confident. However at carrying out of the wlan it is not working DHCP, so hands on the laptop was prescribed.
It is possible that these routers are orphaned because of the load on the wifi while watching IPTV. My old WL-500gP v2 is handled in both cases. Incidentally, he is only 2K now, right g only.

I have a DIR-615. Everything works fine (computers connected to the router patchname).
Make sure that is checked
Advanced -> Advanced Network -> Enable Multicast Streams

The fact that after 3-4 minutes the picture freezes, says that the router is not sent to the network provider multicast packet that the group is still alive. Providersa piece of hardware the packet is not received and banged the flow timeout.

Andrew1000000 above gave the right advice — usually helps.
As a variant — to stick some comp between the router and the ISP and watch tcpdump. Either on the router to dd-wrt like tcpdump can be put.

Earned after D-link was severed wi-fi and it was connected to the second router that is already configured access point.
