System/program bookkeeping for a small grocery store

Good day,
Please suggest a system/program for accounting in a small grocery store (vegetables/bread). Requires inventory, cash register, income/expenditure, salaries, vendors, etc. are There any opensource solutions (requirements not high)? To buy a specialized program don't see the point + value. Preferably cross-platform system/program (under linux).
Might be easier in openoffice calc to do the books? In this case, are there any templates that can be modified to suit your needs?
Thank you.

From one accountant I heard: "In our country, it makes sense to use only 1C. This is the only system that responds to changes of various forms, mounted our state. The system is certainly fucked up another one, but the other systems are even worse, although they can look good."

For what has bought, for and sell, but I think the way it is. Or excel for simple calculations, but further 1c.
