USPS and the Russian Post?

I ordered in America zhelezyachku with the option of delivery United States Postal Service (Express Mail International).

Number for tracking my parcel, I issued the USPS, is as follows (I cite the case I'm just too stupid and/or don't understand something): EG 123 456 789 US. And now, actually, questions:

1)will it work tracking in Russia?

2)is it normal that it has been three days since, when my package left USA, and the tracking of the Russian post says he does not know this number origin?

Thanks in advance.

Not always USPS delivers EMS. It all depends, perhaps, from the type of shipment.
In January I ordered the cheapest delivery type is unregistered, it is not trebuetsa.

On the other hand, PAH-PAH everything comes quickly (2-3 weeks) and without incident, but EMS lost my package and no compensation can not be expected.

For the future I advise you to use regular Priority Mail. Cheaper, but maybe a bit longer. EMS in the performance of our mail is inedible.

1) Express Times — treatise in Russia should.
2) Well, actually the base of the Russian post is synchronized with the databases of other postal companies, especially EMC. Was supposed to see the statuses of Reception and Exports. But for some reason, it doesn't always. So the panic is not worth it.
If the parcel doesn't turn up after 2 weeks in Russia, you should ask the seller whether he gave the tracking.

For the future, better do not post the tracking number on the public receiving the package, there were precedents of obtaining another person...
