Tablet, 7" vs 8" vs 10"

I have a very strange request to Habr community, please lay out a full-sized screens with your tablet. The reason for this request is that I would like to buy a tablet, but can not determine the diagonal. 10 I think big, not comfortable to wear. 7 seems small to read is not convenient. Unfortunately there is no possibility simply to take and use someone else.

I would like to see displayed on different diagonals Habr (and list posts), gmail client, pdf, doc, special formats for e-readers, video with subtitles.

In the comments enough to the model, a diagonal, resolution and the actual screen. Please certainly arrogant, but I do not think one will be interested. Reviews of the tablets I certainly look read, but there as right here the most necessary things did not.

unfortunately there is no possibility to attach a picture (tablet house), but I'll tell you — better for me, 7" — not yet, first, even at 1024 x 600, the picture looks quite well, fits in any small bag, and secondly the weight — you know, I even 350gr noticeably nice, and the more diagonal, the higher the weight.

10" — all excellent. 7 too little.

Well, then — what prevents to go to the nearest electronics store, look diagonal? There you consultants will tell and show and feel give. Choose planche on the pictures — the risk to buy not what we would like.

A full-sized screenshot with Acer Iconia Tab A501 with 1280x800 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6800 with the same 1280x800 You something to give?
Have to go to the store and see for yourself.

Do not think for advertising, I liked the SAMSUNG 6800, it is 7.7 inches with a resolution of 1280 by 800.
Still fits in a large pocket, but normal, in my opinion, display. Half a year use, my tasks, read a book, traffic/navigation in the car, see a movie, enough.

You better go to the store and try it yourself. At the same time, I advise you to pay attention to where the tablet will be used (home or travel), because, for example walk every day with a 10.1" is still annoying.

On a personal example, describe the following:

  • 10.1" Samsung Galaxy Tab 16GB (GT-P7500) — My first tablet, at first, very much a large battery capacity and screen sizes. But a month later, I realized that its size — it is rather a plus than a minus! Very uncomfortable to carry this size, "blank", then this 10.1 inch relatively well weigh. Now I use only at home.

  • 4.7" HTC One X — Yes, it's a phone, but more powerful than the aforementioned Samsung and much more convenient when using. Now I use as a primary device due to the compactness and the easiness of work. The quality of the phone I really liked. But still, with a battery, it's not very

  • 7" HTC Flyer 16GB — Bought a month ago as a gift — is set up, very fond of this device. Despite the outdated version, tablet I liked. Size. Very handy thing + on sale a lot of different accessories.

The tablet no, but I had them test FOR.
In my opinion 7 is the most optimal. Less is the usual cell phone. More — uncomfortable to wear and use out of the Desk chair.
Went with a 7 inch the office, on the street, took home cool, you can put in your pocket (at a certain width thereof). 10 inch difficult. If you really work with the average tablet, it becomes clear that 7 inch is not so little on the screen all fit.
Again, most e-readers made by 7 domovym screen — if it is important to read of course.
