Hello, please help with the choice of MacBook.
Can't choose between:

1) MacBook Pro Retina 13" 2014
Intel Core i5 2.6 GHz Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz
8 GB OF RAM
256 GB ROM

2) MacBook Air 13" 2014
Intel Core i5 1.4 GHz Turbo Boost up to 2.7 GHz
8 GB OF RAM
256 GB ROM

For what purpose are you buying:
Work in Logic Pro, a little photoshop, simple video editing, programming for iOS and Mac, well, simple surfing, watching movies and listening to music.

PS
To connect to an additional monitor is not going

P. P. S.
And yet, I'm afraid to take the Retina because they say that it sometimes podlahove interface, and I can't really tolerate.

Take PRO, nothing on it no lag.
Also choosing between these two models, and the counselor said, "definitely take PRO as it Retina". Took, no regrets, the best monitor of them all on which I worked. After I tried it at a friend's to work on the Air - even after the Retina screen it doesn't look good.

Previously, there were different advantages of these two models - pro was productive(but heavy and less Autonomous), air - light and Autonomous, but less productive.

Now have a pro(13 years):
- a Retina
- higher performance(it's clear)
- weighs 200 grams more Air(periodically work in a cafe and carry)
- Apple has stated that working 8-9 hours at medium brightness and web surfing. In my experience, the figure is similar to the truth. Again, working in a café, before taking a charge(out of habit, before this laptop was a Samsung). Now charging almost didn't take because I am sure that the laptop can withstand almost a full day of work.

I bought it last week Mac Air 13 i7 8Gb 128Gб, very happy with the purchase power is quite enough Adobe products do not slow down if you want mobility, Air, Pro will be more powerful, but heavier, not as convenient for everyday carrying. To check the performance in games has launched StarCraft 2 all works without problems. Happy as an elephant! Choose what like)

I don't know really when they say that Pro is needed for productive tasks And so on. All of his high frequency and power need to be able to draw a picture on the retina.
the pro retina i5 late 2013 8gb - say that RAM is sorely lacking and processor often, too.
already decided that the next Mac will be with i7 processor and 16 gigs.
and so, if you need mobility and power - why not take a custom version of the Air: i7, 8gb?
