Replacement router ASUS WL-520gU

Hello!

I'm "happy" owner of a Wi-Fi router ASUS WL-520gU.
As it turned out, this device sapit channel (over ethernet). ISP gives me a 100 megabits/sec, with the router I get ~36 MB/sec, tried to connect directly, got 78 Mbps. Googling found a similar issue budget routers ASUS WL-520g*
Firmware tried was from Oleg (wl500g.info), they were worse, ask for a beta official, has received +1 Mbps speed. o_o

Now looking to replace the current device, the financial limit of$ 100. Is it possible for the money to get something interesting, a piece of metal that will not cut traffic. USB does not matter. Internet connection via Ethernet. Wi-Fi required, the speed of the "air" does not matter.

Thank you

Sizes important? Can BU a computer with two network cards, switch and router software.

For 100 bucks you will not find. And 36 Mbps for these glands a good result, in my humble opinion.

If not critical to have 2 devices, I advise you to purchase a mikrotik rb750g for example. And from it already wifi through ASUS, though for settings Mikrotik it is desirable to have basic knowledge of networking.

What do you say about TP-Link TL-WR1043ND? Either trimmed by the same flash model: TL-WR941ND and TL-WR841ND
\r
On the Internet write about good speed from WAN to LAN, what is the most critical for me.

Dlink 825 I via WAN via pptp easily pulls 80-90 Mbps (local retracker). At this time, I quietly walk around the sites of special brakes imperceptibly (of course, QoS twisted).
And generally correctly advised about Mikrotik.

Zyxel Keenetic — the best of which is now on the market.

Had the same problem with almost the same router. At the recommendation of a friend sysadmin took ZyXEL NBG460N EE. Excellent vesch, 802.11 n, Gigabit ports, powerful hardware... but is it worth $150
Heard ZyXEL Keenetic over budget, but too bad. But do not use it.
